With the change of the European directive 2012/27 / EU and the drafting of the Italian technical standard UNI 10200 introduced a series of measures to make the real estate more efficient from an energy point of view with the ultimate goal of reducing CO2 emissions.

In particular, directives have been issued concerning the distribution of consumption in the presence of centralised plant. In other words: if from an energy point of view, a thermal power plant is more efficient than many single small boilers, the combination with heat metering allows the individual user to manage independent thermal, rewarding its virtuous behaviour because it becomes the first to benefit from it direct as opposed to a breakdown of costs.

The production of gas ball valves, intended for multiple civil and industrial applications, began in 1970.

Before then, the company, founded in 1960, had as its main activity the production of valves for the food industry of oils and gas.

Enolgas quickly specialized in the production of taps and conical plug valves for plumbing, building and natural gas distribution, obtaining the main reference certifications including the European technical standard EN 331, implemented in Italy as UNI EN 331.

Each phase of the production cycle is supervised by qualified personnel who, from processing to assembly to the realization of the finished product, carry out a series of rigorous tests and quality controls in order to ensure compliance with the main regulations.

The series of motorised valves by Enolgas Bonomi S.p.A. are born in the design and production department of electric actuators belonging to the Systems Division, created by Enolgas Bonomi in 2009 thanks to the acquisition of a company in the electronic automation sector, specialising in the engineering and production of valves motorised.

In addition to expanding its range of products, the transformation touches Enolgas in a profound way: from being a leader in the production of ball valves in brass and stainless steel, purely mechanical sector, Enolgas becomes a MECHATRONIC company, capable of responding to the needs and to the constant changes that the market presents daily. The world of valves evolves and Enolgas follows and anticipates the needs of the market.

The technical know-how, competence and experience gained over the years allows Enolgas to design and produce a wide range of electric actuators, with different power supplies, controls and performance mechanical.

The applications range from the plumbing and heating sector (ITS), to the industrial process sector up to realisations custom as fire protection systems for the naval and railway sectors.

But Enolgas doesn't stop there. The Research and Development area continuously expands the range, introducing systems increasingly complex and efficient, combining the strength and versatility of electronics with the consistency and quality of the nature of brass and steel valves.

The industrial ball valves of Enolgas Bonomi S.p.A. are synonymous with high quality and manufacturing standards of excellent level and represent an important segment in company production. Consisting of a wide range of items, the industrial ball valve series is built to the highest standards, productive and qualitative that allow Enolgas to be able to interface with different and complex realities: professional, distributors, OEMs, industrial plant installers, designers.

Production begins with the acquisition of raw material (stainless steel) of European and certified origin.

The phase continuous production in our dedicated factories, with latest generation machinery. The assembly and the following test phase takes place under the supervision of personnel with high experience and integrated professionalism by precision tools.
 
The ability to customise the production distinguishes the range of industrial ball valves of Enolgas and allows to meet the requests of the most demanding customer.

The range consists of different types of flanged and threaded ball valves starting from DN15 up to DN200, suitable for various uses and applications and which allow to approach numerous sectors.

Industrial valves can be offered with manual operation (lever or hand-wheel) or equipped with actuator (pneumatic and electric).
