When we talk about primary filtration we mean filtration using filter media and cells that fall within class “G” according to the ISO 16890 standard, normally used in civil air conditioning and as prefilters for high efficiency filters.
This special filtration process must be able to retain so-called “fine” contaminants across a very wide field of action. Our range includes cells, pockets and filters that generally fall within classes “M” and “F” of the ISO 16890 standard.
This is the highest level of filtration that can be achieved today. This category includes all absolute filters in our range, which fall within class “H” of the European EN 1822 Standard. Therefore, they are the top of the range of our Group’s technological products.

PURIFICATION
This category includes filters produced by us that have yet to be classified according to the EN standards, and that use activated carbon as a filter medium to purify the air by reducing volatile substances or gases through a chemical process.
ELEMENTS AND SYSTEMS
In order to maximise their performance, all filters need the right housing: General Filter offers a range of equipment, systems and accessories that are useful and sometimes indispensable for optimising the performances.
