Magnescale DF Digital Probe
The Magnescale DF Digital Probes have a slim shape with a stem diameter of 8mm and high durability ball spline bearing. With such a slim diameter the DF series also comes with the option of a flange. This flange will make installation easier, due to the much lower probability of the gauge breaking or bending.
The DF Probes come measuring ranges of 5mm, 12mm, and 30mm. Most commonly sold are the 5mm and 12mm ranges. Both of these ranges come in spring and spring/vacuum push. The 12mm probe also comes in a pneumatic (air) push option.
The DF probes have a 1.0 um accuracy throughout the 5 and 12mm measuring ranges. The feeler of the probe is a carbide ball tip with a mounting screw M2.5.
The Magnescale DF digital probe has high resolution. With being slim and compact the gauge delivers a 0.1 micron maximum resolution.

Magnescale DK Probe Series
The Magnescale DK probes are the most popular probes that Magnescale offers.
The DK805S and DK812S have an 8mm diameter and are available in various configurations. These configurations include spring push or pneumatic push, and straight or right angle cable exit. These DK probes have a flange option that is available. Measurement Technologies recommends the flange version because it eliminates any damage when mounting the probe.
In addition, the DK probes have a 30mm stroke version available. It is extremely accurate and comes in a straight, right angle with spring push, The DK830 series also comes with a pneumatic push version. (DK830SVR)
Magnescale DK probes have several versions in a 20mm barrel diameter. The travels available are 10mm, 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm. All of these probes come with a low measuring force option. The Magnescale DK10 and DK25 series come in a straight cable exit or a right angle.
Finally, Magnescale DK probes have a 155mm or 205mm stroke available. These probes have a 32mm barrel diameter. Both of these probes have a magnetic tip and movement is by gravity. However, the magnetic tip can be removed and a DZ-191 coupling can be added for movement.
All DK Probes are compatible with the MG80 interface module. These modules give the user the option to hook up all DK probes via Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, EtherCat or RS232.
Along with the MG80, Magnescale LT30 Displays are made to take in the DK series probes. LT30 come in 1 or 2 axis and ideal for panel mounting..
Magnescale DL-B Probes
The Magnescale DL-B Probes are slim compact gauges. Their compact design is ideal for designing and incorporating into machines. These gauges have excellent resistance to workshop conditions like dust and vibration (DL310B: IP64). The DL-B can hook-up to a LT20A, along with any module that takes an A/B phase output by open collector.
Magnescale DL-B Probes have two different measuring ranges, 10 mm (DL310B) and 30 mm (DL330B). Both of these have an accuracy of ± 5 μm. With a fast max response speed of 120 m/min. A 3 mm diameter carbide ball feeler tip comes stock with the probe and a M2.5 x 0.45 thread. The mounting area for the gauge is 8 mm in diameter.
On the DL310B bellows and an air lift joint come stock.
There are optional accessories that can be purchased. Those include a bellows set for the DL330B (DZ301). A roller feeler (DZ-100). Coupling (DZ-191)

Magnescale DS Probes
The NEW Magnescale DS Series gaging probes offered USB output straight from the probe to a computer or multiple units can be plugged in a powered USB hub.
The DS805S and DS812S have an 8mm diameter and are available in various configurations. These configurations include spring push or pneumatic push, and straight or right angle cable exit. These DS probes have a flange option that is available. Measurement Technologies recommends the flange version because it eliminates any damage when mounting the probe.
In addition, the DS probes have a 30mm stroke version available. It is extremely accurate and comes in a straight, right angle with spring push, The DS830 series also comes with a pneumatic push version. (DS830SVR)
Magnescale DS probes have several versions in a 20mm barrel diameter. The travels available are 10mm, 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm. All of these probes come with a low measuring force option. The Magnescale DS10 and DS25 series come in a straight cable exit or a right angle.
Finally, Magnescale DS probes have a 155mm or 205mm stroke available. These probes have a 32mm barrel diameter. Both of these probes have a magnetic tip and movement is by gravity. However, the magnetic tip can be removed and a DZ-191 coupling can be added for movement.
Magnescale DT Probes
Magnescale DT series probes are truly a digital probe. They require no calibration for the entire life of the probe. The Magnescale DT series comes in 12MM (DT12/512) and 32MM (DT32) sizes.
The DT12 series comes primarily in a spring push version, but a pneumatic version is possible with the (DZ176) accessory. However, the DT32 series is available in both a spring push and pneumatic push version. Protective bellows are optional on both these models. The accuracy of the DT12 and DT32 models is ± 5.0um.
The DT512 series probes come with or without bellows and in a spring push version, but can also be converted to pneumatic push with the (DZ176) accessory. The accuracy of the DT512 series is ± 3.0um.
The DT series has excellent resistance to oil, water, dust, vibration, shock, and all other workshop conditions. This resistance is equivalent to an IP64 grading in the DT/P series only.
Magnescale DT probes all come with a steel ball tip feeler with a diameter of 3mm, M2.5 x 0.45 thread.
The DT12/32 series is compatible with the LT10A display. The LT10A display gives out a 0.0002″ resolution with the capability of 1-2 input channels.
The DT512 series can be hooked up to the LT11A display. The LT11A gives out a 0.0001″ resolution with the capability of 1-2 input channels.
The Magnescale DT series probe is plugs directly into a LT series display that gives out RS232, BCD or just a (GO/NO GO) signal. There are also interface modules that are available for the DT series. The MT13 interpolator will be needed for the DT probes to be connected to the MG80 module system if you want to connect several probes at once. The MT14 interpolator can be used to connect the gauge to any generic A/B phase counter. If you want the measurements from the DT32 or DT512 to be sent directly to the computer you will need the optional MT30 connector which is hooked up via USB.

Magnescale GBP Series
Magnescale GBP Series have been around for at least 20 years and is a very durable scale. The GBP scale is a magnetic scale that holds up in difficult environments. Coolant, chips, dirt and dust are typically no problem for the GBP scales
This scale is ideal replacement for SR50 or SR30 series scales. For the SR50 and SR30 series, you will need to drill new mounting holes for the scale. However, you can use your existing cable that you have for the SR50 or SR30 series scale.
The GBP series was developed for some OEMs, such as Gerber Coburn.
Magnescale SR128 Scales
Magnescale SR128 Scales have been around for at least 20 years and is a very durable scale. The SR128 is a magnetic scale that holds up in difficult environments. Coolant, chips, dirt and dust are typically no problem for the SR128 scales
This scale is ideal replacement for some of the older Magnescales. Older scales like the SR1711, SR50 or SR108 series scales can all be replaced by Magnescale SR128 scale. For the SR1711 and SR50 series, you will need to drill new mounting holes for the scale. However, if you are replacing a SR108 series scale, it is a drop in replacement. You will have to purchase a new cable, more than likely for all scales.
When it comes to the Magnescale product line, call the experts and we will give you the best option available. Some distributors will tell you that you need an entire new system. We pride ourselves in giving you the best option available.
