Dòng Khởi động mềm SIRIUS 3RW30 Basic Performance của Siemens phù hợp để khởi động mềm động cơ không đồng bộ ba pha. Nhờ điều khiển hai pha, không chỉ dòng điện được giữ ở giá trị nhỏ nhất trong cả ba pha trong toàn bộ thời gian khởi động mà còn loại bỏ các thành phần dòng điện một chiều gây nhiễu. Điều này không chỉ cho phép khởi động hai pha của động cơ lên ​​đến 55 kW (ở 400 V) mà còn tránh các cực đại dòng điện và mô-men xoắn xảy ra, ví dụ với bộ khởi động wye-delta.
