Introduction

- ATY-MSA055 is a 5.8GHz radar sensor with strong anti-interference based on the high-gain antenna independently designed by Merrytek Technology.
- Wide detection range combined with unique software algorithm from Merrytek, it can detect motion signals precisely brought about by human motion in almost all indoor spaces, and at the same time, it input signal for smart home,smart hotel and smart office control system by Dali 2.0 communication protocol.

Note
- To make sure sensor work normally, 1 pcs DALI bus (250mA) can power max 6pcs ATY-MSA055 Initialization
- The indicator light will turn off after 10 seconds of power-on for the first time, and no motion will be detected during initialization. The indicator light can be turned off and on through the remote control MH10, and the sensing sensitivity and delay time parameters can be set through the remote control.

Installation instruction

Recessed mounting

1. Cut a hole 55-60mm on the ceiling
2. Carefully open the side cover and expose the screws and clamp
3. Wire to terminals
4. Install the clamp screw and cover the side cover
5. Bend the spring clamp backward to push the pre-cut hole on the ceiling
6. Ensure smooth and reliable installation
 

Surface mounting

1. Cut off the reserved thin wall for the thread.
2. Fix the product on the target mounting surface by a matching screw.
3. Remove the wiring cover with a screwdriver
4. Connect the DALI wire to the wiring terminal, and fix the cover tightly.
5. Push the product into the ceiling seat, the buckle will fasten the product to prevent it from falling off.
6. To separate the product from the ceiling seat, insert a flat-blade screwdriver to the disassembly gap, lift the screwdriver, and pry down with the tip, the product will pop out of the ceiling seat.
7. Ensure stable and reliable after installation.

Smart home

Detection signal instruction

This radar sensor detects human movement signals, in a non-sleeping state. The following is a description of the movement signals:

- Movement signal: make a large movement (walking) signal within the detection area
 

Application notice

1) The sensor should be installed by a professional electrician. Please disconnect the power before installing, wiring or changing the setting of the DIP switch.

2) Put the sensor as far as possible from large areas of metal plate, pipes, air outlets of air conditioners, exhaust vents, smoke exhausters to avoid triggering by mistake.

3) Avoid using objects that have been vibrating for a long time around the sensor, such as shaking fans, etc. The vibration signal will be regarded as the motion signal to trigger the sensor.

4) Avoid the detection window of the daylight sensor of the detector irradiated by an invalid light source, which will interfere with the measurement of ambient light.

5) Sensor’s microwave can penetrate wall of building. It may cause false triggering when microwave penetrates wall to detect the moving objects out of wall. To avoid triggering by mistake, choose suitable place for installing,keep away from glass, plasterboard, wooden wall and other things that microwave can easily penetrate and choose appropriate sensing parameters according to space

6) Sensor has no sleep function,it constant work,single sensor working current is 14mA

7) Sensor is powered by DALI bus, 1 DALI bus (250mA capacity) and load max 6pcs ATY-MSA055

8) Wireless devices such as 5G routers and high-power wireless transmitters may interfere with the normal operation of this product,such wireless devices should be kept at an installation distance of >2m, and the sensing sensitivity may need to be adjusted according to the actual situation on site

9) There should be no obstructions (such as chandeliers, pipes, etc.) in the direction of sensor antenna 100 This product conforms to the DALI2.0 communication protocol, and can be used as a single sensor to control multiple lights, multiple sensors to control the same light, daylight harvesting function by single sensor.
